Alternative Coverage of the Blue Jays Home Opener
As you may have heard, there was quite a brawl in the stands of the Jays home opener. Here’s some rather terrible footage of the main guy with no shirt starting a fight as he is being kicked out, and generally being a handful for the woefully undersized and unprepared Rogers centre staff:
And just in case you missed it, here’s the fans (wannabe streakers) running on the field. Pretty good shot, you can actually see where they jumped over the dugout.
Here’s a decent shot of him getting tackled (stayed down for a while, too)
And while I would much rather have video evidence of the Stoeten/Sarnia confrontation described over at DJF, this guy is nice and irate. It always seems that the wave-starting goons first jump to life to fill the hush coming from the rest of the stadium that have realized the game is on the line. Even though it largely overshadowed Thomas’ bomb to dead centre today, at least the wave really started going after the game-winning rally, and not right in the middle of it.
