Here’s the pertinent part of the NY hourly weather forecast:


Now, I’m no compulsive gambler (oh, wait), but I’d be willing to bet if yesterday’s slightly-damp afternoon was enough to call the game, an 80% POP, likely rain showers and isolated thunderstorms is enough to make the MLB schedulers look stupid again tonight. Oh well…at least the season has started with a bang so you can watch other teams hitting walk-offs and staging improbable comebacks and playing thrilling extra-inning games. *sob*

  1. The NY Daily News is reporting that the “forecast looks promising” and that its likely that rain will end before the first pitch.
