The Next Big Thing
So there was some new guy in left field tonight. Tervis something. Made an interesting catch, and hit a double, too! I’m going out on a limb here, but I think he might be a prospect to keep an eye on for the future…not sure why we haven’t heard anything about him until now, though.
Snider did a really good job of cutting off that Abreu double so it couldn’t reach the wall and prevented it from being a triple, and made a very strong throw into 2nd as well. Off the bat I thought he had no shot. Looked a little shaky on that pop up down the line though, but it’s not easy being the youngest position player in the majors playing your first game in Yankee Stadium.
