Holy dick!
In case anyone hadn’t noticed, this week’s Griffsanity got the royal treatment from the Joe Morgans.
Oh, Canada. You motherfuckers.
I’ll admit, I miss Reed as much as the next guy, and fail to see what we gained from the Stewart signing, but jesus – I think Ol’ Griff is finally off his rocker. If we learned anything from that heartbreaking loss last night, seeing Stewart actually hold runners with his noodle arm, and even reach base in all four plate appearances, it’s that it’s pretty much a wash anyway for someone who’s just keeping LF warm for a few months. Hell, we even saved the money the jays stand to lose by not selling beer in the 500s on upcoming $2 Tuesdays.
Will the real Lind please stand up? That would make this entire point moot. Not bad through 7 games:
| Team | League | AVG | G | AB | R | H | 2B | 3B | HR | RBI | TB | BB | SO | SB | CS | OBP | SLG | OPS |
| SYR | INT | .360 | 7 | 25 | 3 | 9 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 15 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 1 | .433 | .600 | 1.033 |
Update: Lind went 4-4 with a 3-run HR today. Travis who? (Wait…he hit one too)

Only ONE strikeout for Lind in 7 games!?!? Holy fuck.

It helps that he went 4-4 with a HR and 4RsBI this evening too.

Wow, a .448/.759/1.259 line ain’t too shabby. You think he’s chomping at the bit yet?
Also, in a completely unrelated manner – my first post in ages has somehow thrown the rest of the Tulipbird into bold font?!?
Who said we didn’t like to mix shit up here once in a while.
edit: fixed! Good thing I’ve got a team of highly trained monkeys pruning flowers around the clock. There even working in shifts!

The Jays should trade Lind to the Giants for Matt Cain or Tim Lincecum.
Los Gigantes’ big outfield acquisition isn’t really panning out for them this year, is he?

Haha, there’s still plenty of season left for raw bacon!

We’ll start sweating when the Raw Bacon Tracker makes its first tick upwards.

I have a feeling that this one’s going to go down to the wire.

Whenever you post, there are always the wackiest codes in the HTML. I used to be fluent in that stuff and I don’t even know what half the tags are or why. Are you copying it from some sort of 20 year old word processor straight into the preview?!
Lucky break he’s injured- he’s was killlllling the ball but I imagine it’s hard to generate pop when your ribs are killing. Four more years!!!
