Update: Ouch, I was only kidding about the inevitable…now J.P. has actually announced that B.J. out until mid-April at least, and Wilner thinks it’s more like May. Scott Rolen will have a pin in his finger for a couple of weeks and then take a little time to rehab. That means at least two weeks of Scutaro! Broken hands are troublesome…hopefully Rolen doesn’t experience the same sort of discombobulation at the plate after coming back that Overbay did last year.

There used to be a guy who wrote for the Hardball Times a lot who did stuff like this. Hey, I was right- his name is Carlos Gomez and he was hired by the Diamondbacks. Seemed a bit more knowledgeable but still an interesting site.
